• ◠ You’ve hired me as your photographer, now what?

◠ We plan an evening in a beautiful place that has significance to you / that fits the vibe of your vision— don’t worry, I can help with this and apply for any applicable permits!

◠ Need help with vendor referrals, styling, timeline assistance? i’ve got you on that too.

◠ We meet up, adventure around + hang out while taking photos of you doing your thing while I direct you! majority of people I photograph feel awkward in front of the camera at first, but i’ll be right by your side to guide your experience and make you feel comfortable.

  • My main goal in all of this is that you’re having a good time and that we create something that is true to you. I’m not a photographer who cares about everything looking perfect or a ‘look at me and fake smile’ photo or even matching outfits; i’m all about your hair blowing in the wind, the in-between moments that make you feel something, and I think a little grain or blur never hurt anyone. This is an artistic collaboration between you and I— no two sessions or weddings are going to look the same and I really love that. You can go into a shoot with a vision and still not fully know what you’re going to get. If you’re willing to go with the flow, create together, and trust me to take beautiful photos for you, let’s be friends and do this together.

  • Yes, photos are an investment, but your memories are invaluable and something that you’ll never be able to physically recreate— photographs are the closest thing to tangible memories. A comprehensive list of what I offer can be found under services with each session and offering ranging in price. If you don’t see what you’re looking for, feel free to fill out my contact form and i’ll get back to you ASAP!

  • I am based in Southern California and absolutely love doing sessions in my home state, but fly me out to you and I’m there! Other favorite states of mine include: Hawaii, Oregon, Utah, Arizona (for the desert vibes) and New York.

  • Q: How many photos do you give?

A: Ahh, I really don’t like to put a number limit on it because quality is greater than quantity, but I will always deliver all of your best photos without holding back. I want you to have your memories to look back on. For each hour of shooting, you can typically expect anywhere from 75-100 edited images.

Q: How long have you been a photographer?

A: If you don’t count high school or college, then 10 years! I have had cameras all of my life but started taking photography more seriously my junior year of high school. I photographed my first wedding in 2012.

Q: Do you give raw photos?

A: I don’t, sorry. The magic is in the edits! Trust me.

Q: What about pricing for photos outside of california?

A: Let me know where you’re thinking when you inquire, with as much pertinent information as possible and I can send over pricing for you!

    Q: Can you photoshop us?

A: Outside of any impurities that wouldn’t normally be there like a blemish, bruise, scratch, etc. I don’t majorly photoshop my images or the people in them. If there is anything you are self conscious about, please let me know beforehand and I will be mindful when positioning you for photos.

Q: Can i hire you for less than 1 hour?

A: To be honest, I think in theory mini sessions sound desirable, but they don’t allow for the full experience, and more often than not, we aren’t able to accomplish what we want in that short period and end up shooting closer to an hour anyway. At this point in time, i’m not offering sessions that are less than an hour long.

Q: How far in advance should we reach out?

A: Typically I recommend reaching out at least a year in advance (when possible) for elopements and small weddings, and 3-6 months for other sessions. My availability varies from season to season though, so being able to accommodate your day all depends on how busy I am.

Q: I sent you an inquiry about my day, does that reserve the date?

A: In order to reserve an elopement or session on my calendar, I require a signed contract and 20% retainer to be paid. Simply emailing me about a prospective date will not reserve anything unfortunately! If I don’t hear back within a few days, your inquiry gets archived.

    Q: How does payment work?

A: I use a website called HoneyBook, where you can use your credit card, debit card, or link directly to your bank. For sessions, after your retainer is paid, the remaining balance will be due on or before the day of your session, prior to it ending, or in 2-4 payments for elopements and intimate weddings. I’m more than happy to create a payment plan that works best for you!

Q: Can you edit our photos differently?

A: Your edits will reflect the style you see in my current work and portfolio. It will sometimes vary depending on different lighting conditions and time of day, but will be consistent of what is on my website.

Q: Can we hire you for only video?

A: No, sorry. Video is only available as an add on to photo for sessions and elopements!

    Q: Do you offer discounts?

A: I do not. Pricing is set with purpose to value my time, skill, knowledge and art.
